Here are the first six pages of my Halloween-themed picture book. It's about a curious kitten who wanders off into a pumpkin patch and encounters spooky characters... And soon wishes he could go home.

"Scaredy Cat" is the first in a series of short stories I am creating to one day compile in a book that I will call "Stories Without Words". Without text, readers are given the freedom to create their own narrative.

Oh my goodness, a daily deviation!!! I can't believe it! This is something I've been dreaming about since I joined dA nearly 10 years ago. ;u;

I came up with my Scaredy Cat idea about 5 weeks ago and almost didn't do it because it was such short notice before Halloween. After doing the story board and discovering that it will be about 50 pages, I almost quit. But I kept working on it every day this month, and completed it just in time!
